Getting Started with the Farmer Dave’s CSA Is Easy
Choose the CSA share that fits your household, select a pickup location or home delivery, and complete your sign-up online. From there, we’ll take care of the growing—keeping you informed with weekly updates so you know what to expect and when to pick up your farm-fresh food.
Member Responsibilities: Helping Your CSA Run Smoothly and Sustainably
Your CSA Share – We ask that CSA members pick up their share during the scheduled pickup time. If you’re unable to make it, a friend, family member, or neighbor is welcome to pick it up for you—just have them give your name at the time of pickup. Any unclaimed shares at the end of the pickup window are donated to our local hunger relief partners, and we’re unable to replace shares once they’ve been donated or hold them past distribution time.
CSA Crates – We appreciate your help keeping our system running smoothly by returning your CSA crate each week. You can either bring the crate back at pickup or transfer your share into reusable bags and leave the crate behind. For home or office deliveries, please set your empty crate out for your next delivery. If you forget your crate, we’ll ask that you use reusable bags for that week instead of taking an additional crate. Thank you for supporting our sustainability efforts.
CSA Box Options to Fit Every Household
We offer several CSA box options designed to match different household sizes and eating habits. Each box is thoughtfully packed with a seasonal mix of fresh, locally grown produce, giving you flexibility while ensuring variety, value, and peak freshness every week.
What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct partnership between a farm and its community members. It connects you more closely to where your food comes from—no middlemen, just a shared commitment between you and the farm.
When you join, you become a “shareholder” in the season’s harvest by paying upfront for your share in the harvest. In return, you receive a weekly box of fresh, seasonal produce throughout the growing season.
This model also supports us as farmers by providing early-season funding when it’s needed most—helping cover seeds, supplies, and farm operations without relying heavily on loans.
It’s a system that keeps local agriculture strong, supports the land we farm, and builds a direct connection between the people who grow food and the people who enjoy it each week.
Become part of Farmer Dave’s CSA and enjoy fresh, thoughtfully grown produce every week—supporting your health, your community, and your local farm with every share.
